Noah's Ark accommodates animals impounded by City of Gainesville Animal Control. If your animal is impounded, the following fees apply. These do not include fines imposed from any citations issued. If you suspect your pet has been impounded by the city animal control officer, or by the police, call us at (940)665-9800, or call the Gainesville Police Dept. at (940)668-7777.

IMPOUND FEE

First Impound
$20.00 If picked up within 24 hours.
Plus: $5.00 Boarding fee for each 24 hour period thereafter or portion thereof

Second Impound:
$35.00 If picked up within 24 hours
Plus: $5.00 Boarding fee for each 24 hour period thereafter or portion thereof


Third Impound:
$55.00 If picked up within 24 hours
Plus: $5.00 Boarding fee for each 24 hour period thereafter or portion thereof

Current city registration and rabies vaccination are required for redemption.

Noah's Ark has also been assigned by the city to issue annual city animal licenses with tags.

City licenses now cost $5.00 for all animals.
